Ye Beste and Most Antiente Cashpointe in Ye Worlde

  1. This is my local cashpoint and I use it without thinking about the look as I am so familiar with it. I suppose it does look a little odd. Did you visit the Tithe Barn - the original bank where the evil Abbess of Shaftesbury took a tax of 10% from the locals, be it corn or livestock? (Halcyon days - tax at 10% - I can just about remember VAT being at that rate).

    1. Yes, I love the tithe barn - saw a handfasting outside on the grass last midsummer day - poured with rain but it was a fab occasion.
